yes.must cut ur 学生证first, then apply EP.

let me tell you very clearly, you can apply ep first before you cancel your student's pass, but after you have received the approval letter from MOE, then you have to cancel your student's pass and then to collect your EP. if your EP application is not successful, then find another jobs, start the whole process again.
