The ipq8074/8072 are both quad-core A53 2.2GHz, 14nm manufacturing process, with dual-core NPU (network processor).
IPQ8074 is Qualcomm's first WiFi6 networking solution designed to meet the growing demands of an increasingly crowded and dense Wi-Fi environment. It offers the best configuration to bring unprecedented capacity and coverage to Wi-Fi networks, and supports several unique features to ensure the best Wi-Fi performance for all types of applications. Q8074A compared to IPQ8074, IPQ8074A adds MU-MIMO Uplink, OFDMA -- UL, MU-RTS (Multi-User Request To Send), Preamble Puncture, Spatial Reuse (OBSS PD) and other functions. Maximize payload data rate by increasing efficiency, reduce contention between STAs and improve channel utilization. This shows that IPQ8074A can have more stable and higher wireless data rate, anti-interference ability is also better.
