Junior QS cum Purchaser

§ Participate of Subcon tendering process including but notlimited to preparation of specifications, bills of quantities and other tenderdocuments;
Participate in Subcon negotiation;
Assist Subcon claim, certificate, payment and Variation Order;

§ Assist to negotiate and award project sub-package;
Estimation and monthly update of project costs.

§ Perform cost planning, life cycle costing and cost control;

§ Liaise with Construction Department for material requisition bysourcing and negotiating with supplier;
Process and handle material delivery order and invoicing matter;
Manage supplier chain;

§ Gather purchase and service requisitions, where possible,recommend alternative solutions to meet requestor's requirements;

§ Source for vendors and quotations, negotiate and perform costversus quality analyses;

§ Generate purchase orders;

§ Coordinate closely with Construction Department to trackdeliveries and verify quantity and quality of delivered items or services;

§ Verify invoice against respective purchase order and deliveryorder, thereafter liaise with Accounts Department for timely payment to vendors;

§ Maintain relationships with existing vendors and develop newnetworks;

§ Responsible for monthly analytical reports to management;

§ Involved in annual ISO audit

§ Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities when required oras instructed
