大家请看日本大使馆网站，http://www.sg.emb-japan.go.jp/visa_documents.htm 全世界就只有中国和俄罗斯等国的护照是有特别的一个的目录，我们是需要担保人的，我在日本旅行社工作，不会有错，公司里的马来西亚人，菲律宾，印尼等国都不需要日本担保人，就是中国人需要，请各位自己看清楚网站，即使是pr也一样需要担保人，大家也不妨可以去查一下日本在别国的大使馆网站，都是写一样的要求。（有时候觉得很悲伤，国家在强大，但是护照还是不好用，中国护照基本上是世界大国里最不方便的一本，连东南亚小国的护照都不如）
在国内通过旅行社办理的是自由行的签证，不需要跟团，去年7月就开始可以了。但是要在国内有工作，这些内容都可以在网站上看到，我本人也去过大使馆办理签证，如果有哪位高手是拿中国护照但不需要日本担保人或日本公司担保，可以在新加坡办理到签证的话，请告诉我，我们可以有大生意做了。
以下是签证材料：
Top 1 PASSPORT (Original)
A valid passport with at least 2 blank (visa) pages remaining. (1 page for visa sticker, another page for the landing permission stamp. N.A.
↓ 2 VISA APPLICATION FORM & 1 PASSPORT-SIZE PHOTO (Original)
Please download, print and complete the application form. 1 RECENT coloured passport-sized photo of a light-coloured background (taken within 6 months) to be affixed to application form.
↓ 3 CERTIFICATION OF EMPLOYMENT / STUDENT REGISTRATION (Original)
A foreigner currently working in Singapore must produce a certification of employment from the employer. Employment contracts should not be submitted unless the foreigner is in the midst of switching jobs. If the foreigner is a student (including Permanent Residents and Dependent Pass holders) currently studying in Singapore, a certification of student registration from the educational institution is required. For those who are self-employed and have a registered business in Singapore, please provide a photocopy of the Business Registration Profile from ACRA (Note: This is NOT the Business Registration Certificate). Foreigners who are neither employed nor studying may ignore this requirement. However, foreigners who are Singapore Permanent Residents (PR), please see further remarks under 'UPDATED BANK PASSBOOK or BANK STATEMENTS.
↓ 4 FLIGHT ITINERARY (Photocopy)
A flight reservation slip issued by a travel operator/airline or e-Ticket if flight reservation was made online. In the case of airline staff travelling on staff ticket without a confirmed flight itinerary at the time of application, please submit a photocopy of the airline employee pass in place of the itinerary. N.A.
↓ 5 UPDATED BANK PASSBOOK or BANK STATEMENTS (Photocopy)
A foreigner entering Japan for NON-OFFICIAL reasons (e.g. sightseeing) must submit their bank passbook(s) or bank statements of PERSONAL savings accounts showing the latest 1-month banking transactions. Internet-banking statements may be accepted on the condition that the account holder's name and account number are reflected on the same page. Otherwise, an official bank document carrying the account holder's name and account number must be submitted as proof of account ownership. Company/corporate accounts, insurance policies, investment accounts and accounts with credit facilities are not accepted.
Note: With effect from 1 April 2008, Singapore PRs are exempted from submitting personal bank statements if they can produce a valid Certification of Employment. However, the Embassy reserves the rights to request for it and other additional documents such as salary slips whenever it deems necessary. N.A.
↓ 6 IDENTITY CARD (Photocopy)
Photocopy of ONE OF THESE Singapore long-term identity passes: Singapore Permanent Resident blue I.C. (PR), Employment Pass (EP), Work Permit (WP), Dependent Pass (DP), Student Pass (STP) or Long-Term Social Visit Pass (SVP). Permanent Residents below 15 years of age not in possession of a P.R. identity card may submit a photocopy of the passport page carrying the re-entry permit stamp instead.

↓ 8 INVITATION LETTER （招聘理由書） (Photocopy)
A letter from the inviting organisation in Japan stating the reason(s) for inviting the visa applicant.
↓ 9 GUARANTEE LETTER （身元保証書） (Photocopy)
A letter from the inviting organisation in Japan declaring to undertake full responsibility of the visa applicant's maintenance in Japan.
↓ 10 DAILY ACTIVITIES / TRAINING ITINERARY （滞在予定表） (Photocopy)
The applicant's daily activities schedule in Japan.
↓ 11 GUARANTOR'S EMPLOYMENT CERTIFICATION （身元保証人の在職証明書） (Photocopy)
If an individual makes a personal invitation or when an academic member of a Japanese university stood as guarantor, a certification of employment of the individual or academic staff member must be submitted. This requirement is, however, not applicable when an invitation is made by an individual employee on behalf of the corporation which he/she belongs to. N.A.
↓ 12 GUARANTOR'S RESIDENCE LETTER （身元保証人の住民票） (Photocopy)

A Residence Letter from the Japanese guarantor to prove his/her present residency in Japan. N.A.
↓ 13 GUARANTOR'S RECEIPT OF INCOME TAX PAYMENT （身元保証人の納税証明書）(Photocopy)
Receipt of income tax payment of the last assessment year.
Note: This requirement applies ONLY to guarantor of STUDENT PASS (STP) holders. N.A.
