Thank you very much for your advice and sharing. It is very nice of you.

Hope you and your husband will manage to make a decision soon. Hong Kong is quite an interesting place. Some people like it whereas others do not. I left Hong Kong for Singapore because I am an adventurer. I want to become more mature and independent. So far I like my life here in Singapore though I do admit that I feel lonely once in a while, especially during public holidays.

From what I understand, most HK immigrants in Singapore came here before the handover. Some settled down in this country while others returned to HK. I know that the government did welcome HKgers to move to Singapore in late 80s and early 90s. Yet, I am not sure if this priority still exists in this century.
