如题. 看看中国人能否帮中国人.

" Probably the only taxi driver in this world with a PhD from Stanford and a proven track record of scientific accomplishments, I have been forced out of my research job at the height of my scientific career, and unable to find another one, for reasons I can only describe as something "uniquely Singapore". As a result, I am driving taxi to make a living and writing these real life stories just to make the dull job a little more interesting. I hope that these stories are interesting to you too."

To be honest, I can't believe that a man has worked in A*STAR for 16 yrs but still under contract. Anyway, I have told myself many times I would become a taxi driver after retiring.

A lot of A* star staffs are under contract. Even you are a perm staff, they still can sack you whenever they want. Nothing is permanent

作者的人格意志自然令我钦佩，但英文文笔就不敢恭维了。
说好听点叫做学究气太浓，像在写paper
说难听点就像刚学英文，累积了不少词汇的学生，为了运用学来的词汇，生硬的插入并不合适的语境中。
到处可见的语法错误就不用提了。
native speakers大概只能捏着鼻子看吧；虽然词汇量恐怕还赶不上这位大叔

所以，我相信用中文表达，会更流畅生动。
可惜最近工作很忙，又刚拿到车，没有太多空闲时间。
不然我就来开个头了
